The Miami Heat are the currently the best NBA team in the
league. Last night Lebron and Dwayne Wade’s lead their team to an 88-102
victory over Jeremy Lin and a good New York Knicks team. The Miami Heat now hold the best record in
the NBA at 27-7 and have won their last 8 games by 12 or more points. This is
no surprise to anyone since they are the most talented basketball team in the world!
It almost seems unfair that the Miami has three all stars in Lebron James,
Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh. The speed and skill of this Miami team is just
overpowering, making the Miami Heat a favorite to win the NBA Champion ship. It
is clearly championship or bust with this Heat team, putting an immense amount
of pressure on all players come playoff time.
Through out the playoffs teams playing the Heat will have their work cut
out for them in try to slow down this unbelievable hot Miami team.

Lin-sanity
Right now Jeremy Lin is the biggest story in the NBA. Jeremy
Lin, point guard for the New York Knicks, has burst on the NBA scene and become
one of the most popular players in the game right now. Jeremy Lin has led the
Knicks to 7 straight wins averaging 25 points and 9 assists, in those 7 games.
This is amazing considering that at the start of the season Jeremy Lin was the
fourth string point guard who came into the league as an undrafted free agent. No
one had heard of Jeremy Lin at the start of the season but 3 games ago Lin
performed on the biggest stage in the NBA, Madison Square Garden, putting up 38
points and 7 assists against Kobe Bryant and the Los Angles Lakers. Not only
has he out played one of the greatest players of all time, Kobe Bryant, he has
proven he can finish and win games. Last week at the Air Canada center Lin
proved that he is the really deal, when he hit a game winning three pointer against
the Raptors with 0.5 seconds left on the clock. That’s two games in a row the
raptors have lost on the last shot of the game AGGGHHH! Even though I’m glad to
see Jeremy Lin to be successful but why did it have to be on the raptors.
Jeremy Lin is a true underdog story: he is the only Harvard
grad playing in the NBA, only American born player of Taiwanese or Chinese
descent and was an undrafted player. He is the most popular player in the NBA
right now because everyone wants him to succeed and he has taken advantage of
the opportunity he was given. This Lin-sanity may be short lived but we’ll all
have to wait a see if Lin can keep this up.

Kobe Bryant "Mr Clutch"
In the closing minutes of a close basketball game is there
any other player in the world a team would rather have then Kobe Bryant. Living
up to his hype as the best closer in basketball today, maybe even in history,
Mr. Bryant silenced the Air Canada center Sunday afternoon during the Toronto
Raptors game by hitting the go head basket with 4.2 left on the Clock in a
94-92 Laker victory over the Toronto Raptors. As a loyal fan of Toronto I can’t
help but hate and respect Kobe Bryant for his amazing talents.
Twice in the last two years Kobe has stolen the game from
the Raptors players and fans by sinking a game-winning basket in the dying
seconds of a game. Through out Kobe’s career he has established himself as a
dominant player, scorer and champion as he resides in the top 5 scorers of all
time, multiply all-star, MVP and Champion. I respect Kobe for his
accomplishments as a basketball player and admire his talents but as a Raptors
fan I hate Mr. Bryant.
